What Changes the Price of a Roof Clean in Coastal Georgia?

A bigger roof takes more solution and more time, so size is the obvious one. Pitch and height matter just as much. A steep roof or a third story means more setup and slower, careful work, and on a damp north slope under oaks, careful isn't optional.

Metal and tile roofs get the same soft wash as shingle. What changes is the dwell time and the strength of the mix.

Plants, beds and grass under the roofline all get soaked with water before we start and rinsed again when we're done. A house ringed with landscaping takes longer to protect than one with a bare lawn, and it's time we won't skip.

Debris is the other one. Pine straw and leaves sitting on the roof get blown off first. Roof blowing has been on our list of services for years, and on St. Simons back in March 2022 we were posting that we could clear debris off any roof, even a delicate one.

One more thing decides the price: whether we take the job at all. If the roof is at the end of its life or the decking is soft, we won't clean it.
